Sony Ericsson has announced a new slimline midrange handset called the Sony Ericsson T700, the follow up to its Sony Ericsson T610 device. T700 is the perfect slim elegant phone – slick stick design with premium metal finish.

This handset is not more improved with other features but has improved on its predecessor with a 3.2 megapixel. This gadget is due to be released on Q4, 2008. The phone has GSM/GPRS/HSDPA connectivity feature, means pictures – which are geo tagged and can be uploaded directly to blogs and web pages or stored on the 512MB Memory Stick Micro provided. As we this features was already released with Sony Ericsson K750i Cybershot camera phone.

This phone comes with 4.5-hours of 3G talk, 2-inch TFT LCD, Bluetooth A2DP, only 10-mm thin plus.With Google Maps, Microsoft Exchange and Access Netfront web browser, connectivity is abundant. All the usual music and video playback options associated with Sony Ericsson are present but this handset doesn’t break the mould, at 78g it just aims to make it look good.
