The phone is built on triband technology which allows it to work on on GSM 900, 1800 and 1900 bandwidths. This brings a very good network to the device. Samsung phone has a battery which supports for long hours! The battery, when fully charged supports a talk time of up to 2.5 hours and a standby time of up to 250 hours. I find features to be waste if the gadget becomes heavy after loading it with these features but the Samsung J700 is lightweight with a weight of 92 gm. It is also small and pocket able with size as its dimensions measure 99.5mm x 48mm x 14.8mm.

Internet browsing is also made possible with the J700 as there is GPRS and EDGE present here. Bluetooth makes it possible for the device to exchange songs and videos with other similar devices having Bluetooth in it. USB is also available so that sharing of documents with desktops is possible. Seeing the gadget made me feel the Aha! effect and so I got to it and I am happy that the person for whom I bought the Samsung J700 was also happy at the first instance itself.
