1,100 police officers and police community support officers (PCSOs) in the UK’s Thames Valley area are swapping their mobile phones for BlackBerrys - which will give them access to the police national computer (PNC) system.

Policemen will use Blackberry phones

β€œThe BlackBerry will fit in well because it will allow me to get photos and other information about vandalism or anti-social behaviour right from the computer while I am patrolling the streets. As a result, I will be able to stay out patrolling for longer,” PCSO Lori Hale said. News Source
